What is your service area?
Our main service area is Stamford and Greenwich Connecticut. But that does not mean that we won’t exit this area. If someone need our services we will be there no matter where or what time. Should I repair or replace my garage door?
This is one of the most popular questions. But unfortunately it will be unprofessional to try and answer it in general, and without inspecting the garage door at your location. We always like to say that every garage door is unique, and what worked for one door may not work for another.
Do you offer maintenance and tune up?
We offer same day tune up for all kinds of overhead doors and gates. We recommend to perform the maintenance every 6 months, to ensure a perfectly working garage door. A good maintenance should include some tune up for the garage door opener and the springs, and of course safety check.
What is the problem with my garage door?
The million dollar question. The problem is that there is no one answer to that question, and every door may have a different problem, or few problems at the same time. But most times the answer is: You have been ignoring the need for maintenance.
Many times people tell us that they have a problem with one part, when it is actually a different problem. For example: If you own an automated garage door, and there is a problem with the door’s mechanism, it is affecting the opener in a way that make it seem like there is something wrong with the opener itself. But, when we arrive to the location and inspect the garage door, we find that the reason that the opener couldn’t lift the door is because there is a problem such as a broken spring or a snapped cable.
Can I repair my garage door by myself?
The simple answer will be – Yes you can repair the garage door by yourself. But, and here come an important but, does it worth it for you? We would like to say few words about that:

There are many garage door motors manufactures, each one will claim to make the best openers. Our preferred opener manufacture is Lift Master, which create high quality and reliable openers.
What kind of opener do I need?
The main overhead door opener types we are working with are the chain drive and the belt drive openers. Both of them are strong and reliable, and the only difference between them is the noise. While the operating of a chain drive motor involve the noise of a metal chain moving along the rail, this noise does not exist with the belt drive opener, since it worked with a rubber belt instead of the iron chain.
